Cellar Door Wine Festival

Kayla Hall and Ashley Reynolds, Saturday 15th of February at the 2014 Adelaide Cellar Door Wine Festival, Adelaide Convention.

WineWorks were lucky enough to be a part of this year’s Cellar Door Wine Festival in February, running the Pick 'n Pack counter. It was a fun and busy 3 days but it was great to catch up with everyone and meet loads of new people. Thank you to everyone for suggesting our services to your customers.

From the GM - Kent Brown

Well another Vintage and Showdown has come and gone and things are looking good (for the Power). Hard to believe it's halfway through April already as the year seems to have flown by. By now you should have received our latest transport and storage pricing schedule and if you have not please drop me a line.

We understand that Vintage is always a busy time so myself and Kayla have been keeping busy in the office. You may have seen our latest ads in WBM or in the weekly e-newsletter The Week that Was. If you haven't do yourself a favour and sign up. Now that vintage is almost done we will be out and about to touch base and ensure that we are delivering the best logistics experience possible. For those in the Coonawarra I will be up for the Mt Gambier Cup an look forward to catching with a few of you over the week.

For the rest keep an eye out as we will be out and about over the next month. As always if there are any problems or hassles you need a hand with or just want to hear my dulcet tones drop me an email or call me day or night ( preferably day) .

Department Updates

Warehouse

I can't believe Easter is nearly on us!! Don't forget that Anzac day will make the week after the long weekend only 3 working days this year. These two weeks are very busy for the warehouse so please get your orders in as early as you can.

Transport space fills very fast in the few days before the long break. We are also approaching the end of financial year, so if you are thinking of doing a stock take, please book in early.

The last few working days of June get booked out very quickly. This is also a great time of year to review your inventory. Removing the last few cartons of a vintage or clearing old or superseded dry goods can save you storage costs heading in to FY15.

Transport

Well the Hot Cross Buns have been out since January, but April is here and Easter is now finally upon us. We hope you have all had, or are having an extremely successful 2014 vintage!

As we all know, this time of year can cause some confusion on transport times for your interstate orders due to the public holidays, however you should all have received your Easter Transport Schedules last week, which should address any of your concerns. If you have not yet received your copy, please contact Kayla in the office, and she would be more than happy to help.

Please be sure to allow plenty of lead time for these deliveries, particularly to the Western side of the country.

If you do have any questions regarding any deliveries through the holiday period, or any other general logistical queries, please contact Simon or Jo at transport@wineworks.com.au

Rework

When you need to make those last minute changes, you can safely rely on the help of us to get it done. When needing those fiddly jobs done, whether they're big or small, I'm here to help!

Simply fill in the attached Rework Request from online, or contact Ashley Reynolds on 08 8382 8882 or rework@wineworks.com.au

Export

When it comes to tight deadlines in the export market it makes the world of difference when your wine is prepared for packing. Your container pack is trouble free when you save yourself the added handling costs by configuring your stock from bottling.

For information on how to prepare your container pack prior please contact Ashley Reynolds on 08 8382 8882 or export@wineworks.com.au
