Happy Summer!

Sustainable Summer Checklist Instagram Post

To get in the spirit of summer, we’ve crafted a list of sustainable practices and products to help you make informed decisions and set the standard for an eco-friendly season. Check out our blog post and Instagram post for the full list + recommendations!

Stay Tuned for the Fall Sustainability Survey

Our annual Sustainability Survey provides feedback on our current sustainability initiatives and helps us plan future projects! We encourage students, faculty, and staff to fill out the survey. Respondents can be entered into a raffle to win a gift card to a local business. More details will be available at the beginning of the Fall semester.

The Chapman Community Garden is Back!

The Chapman Community Garden, located in the Davis Quad, is a space for students to grow food and connect with nature. Students can sign up for garden beds each semester on a first come, first served basis. More information, including a reservation form, will be available at the beginning of the Fall semester.

Slow Living

Our latest Instagram post highlights the basics of slow living - what it is, what its benefits are, and how to implement it into daily life to boost sustainability and well-being. The summer season is an ideal time for students to reflect and be intentional about everyday decisions while away from the fast-paced school semester. To learn more about how to slow down, check out our Instagram post and blog post.
