Find scholarships and grants with Generosity New Zealand
Great news! Are you looking for grants or scholarships for yourself or your community group? Our library members now have access to Generosity NZ.
Generosity NZ is the largest digital search facility for funding information in Aotearoa.
You can use Generosity NZ's online platform to search for billions of dollars worth of opportunities - scholarships, grants and awards for individuals (using givME), and businesses, schools, community groups and clubs (using givUS).
You will need a library card number to access Generosity NZ for the first time. From there's you'll be asked to set up an account with Generosity NZ.
Check out the Online Resources page on our website to access Generosity NZ, or pop into your nearest District Libraries branch to find out more.

Explore your family tree with Ancestry Library Edition
Another of our popular online resources is Ancestry Library Edition.
This special edition of the world's largest online family history resource gives you access to census, church, court and immigration records, as well as record collections from New Zealand, Europe, Australia and other areas of the world!
Ancestry Library Edition can be accessed in person at our libraries, using APNK Library WiFi or a library computer. You don't need to be a library member to log in.

We'll watch a fresh new movie from our DVD collection, projected on the 'big screen' in the Carnegie Room. Please check in with the library staff to find out more about this month's movie - it's an Oscar-nominated drama loosly based on the life of Steven Speilberg.

School holidays are almost here...
Keep an eye on our Facebook page for our upcoming July school holiday programme.
This one will be our biggest holiday programme ever, with a huge range of free drop-in events across the peninsula!
We'll have cool crafts to make, inspiration for celebrating Matariki, awesome games to play and special events at all three of our District Libraries. For the first time ever, we're bringing an escape room to Thames Library, and in Tairua and Mercury Bay there will be plenty of puzzles and games to try out. It's going to be huge!
