If your social media feeds are full of raves about the benefits of mindfulness, but you just don’t seem to be getting much out of it yourself, researchers have an explanation.
Today in The Conversation Canada, Nathaniel Johnson and Hali Kil of Simon Fraser University discuss their findings about five different aspects of mindfulness, some of which may be more beneficial than others. These aspects combine in different ways, which can affect the success of an individual’s mindfulness practice.
“Knowing your mindfulness profile could be an important next step for more effectively improving your well-being and mental health,” they write.
