December 2021 

As 2021 comes to a close, we’re taking time to reflect on another year of continuing and new challenges. We also are reflecting on the achievements that resulted from the commitment, hope and power of our partners and in our communities.

At Sierra Health Foundation and The Center, we are proud of our work and that of our partners in pursuit of health and racial equity and racial justice. However, there is much more work ahead of us. Although COVID-19, health inequities, racial injustice and a growing political divide are significant obstacles, we believe our communities are stronger than these challenges, and we know that together we can ensure an equitable statewide recovery and a just future for all Californians.

As we look to 2022 with renewed commitment and hope, we thank our many partners throughout California and beyond. We look forward to our continued work together in pursuit of a healthful life for all.
