Dear Families,
As we reach the conclusion of the 2025 school year, I would like to extend my warmest wishes to our entire school community for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
During this holiday season, our thoughts and hearts go out particularly to our Jewish families. Amidst the sadness many are feeling, we hope you are still able to find peace and joy while celebrating Hanukkah. May the Festival of Lights bring warmth and hope to your homes.
We have had an amazing year at Coolbinia Primary School, and I am immensely grateful for the unwavering support of our families. I want to acknowledge the incredible effort of our students and the dedication of my staff, who work tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of our children every day.
This week has been a special time of reflection and celebration. Wednesday’s Graduation Assembly provided a wonderful opportunity for our Year 6 students to look back on their primary school journey. This was followed by a graduation evening where students, friends, and family celebrated this major milestone together.
Our graduates shared fond memories of hard work, strong friendships, and the vital support they received from parents and teachers. They spoke of the many opportunities they had to learn, play, care, create, and laugh. All of these experiences have contributed to their success so far and will undoubtedly help them achieve their hopes and dreams in the future.
Thank you for a wonderful 2025. I wish you all a safe and restful break and look forward to seeing you in the new year.

Coolbinia’s Got Talent!
What a fantastic day of creativity and confidence at Coolbinia’s Got Talent! Our students amazed us with their singing, dancing, music, comedy, and more. It was wonderful to see families come along to have a look and support our performers. A huge congratulations to all involved and thank you to the staff and families who helped make the day such a success.
Year 6 Graduation Message
Congratulations to our wonderful Year 6 students on reaching this important milestone. This day we didn't celebrate just the end of primary school, but the growth, friendships, and memories you’ve made along the way.
As you move on to secondary school, we wish you every success, happiness, and confidence in this exciting new chapter. Be brave, be kind, and always believe in yourselves. New challenges and opportunities are ahead, and we know you are ready for them.
A special thank you to the families who are here today. Your support, encouragement, and pride have helped these students reach this moment, and it means so much to have you celebrating with us.
Year 6, you will always be part of our school community. We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see all the amazing things you will achieve.

Before Soccer is Back in Term 1 on Wednesday’s 7:30-8:30am
Mark Lee Football Coaching is back at Coolbinia PS & have been running the hugely successful program here since 2016. Former professional footballer, Mark Lee and his colleagues will create a fun, energetic & exciting place for all of the children so they can start their school day on a real high.
Children from PP to Yr 6 are welcome & will be placed in age-appropriate groups. Mark can take your child to class after the session, simply let him know.
Dates Wednesday 18 February to Wednesday 25 March
Time 730-830am
Cost $129 per child for 6 week program
