DAAD Scholarship Winner Kate Matthews has been awarded a prestigious DAAD scholarship to study at Leibniz University Hannover International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) Iriana Ximenes has been invited by the prestigious International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) to attend the IISS Shangri-La Dialogue and Southeast Asian Young Leaders’ Programme 2024. National Archaeology Week Professor of Archaeology Claire Smith and PhD students Elspeth Hodgins and Darren Siwes took part in a webinar series as part of National Archaeology Week. Get to know PhD Student Sonali Deshmukh Sonali is part of a National Industry PhD Program to improve indoor air quality. We asked about her work with industry partner Seeley International to reduce transmission of infectious diseases. Get to know PhD Student Iriana Freitas De Jesus Ximenes We spoke with Iriana about her being invited to the 21st IISS Shangri-La Dialogue and Southeast Asian Young Leaders’ Programme from 30 May to 2 June, and also learned how her studies will benefit her home country, Timor-Leste.
