Through it all, your School of Communication Advising and Peer Mentoring teams are here for you! We offer both drop-in and appointment times five days a week on the second floor of Doti Hall. They can help you navigate your Program Evaluation, prep for registration, apply for internships, explore minors, and learn about campus resources. Dr. Andrea Weber, EdD, Assistant Dean for Advising and Student Life ![]() ![]() Chapman Radio Experiences IBS in New York City!Chapman Radio just attended the 2025 Intercollegiate Broadcasting System Conference and Award Ceremony in Times Square, New York City. This is the 86-year-old national organization that college radio stations from around the country attend and submit audio for award consideration. Not only did Chapman Radio learn a lot about broadcast and audio during the conference, but they were also nominated for 10 national college radio awards. At the award ceremony, they took home four national college radio awards! The following national award winners are:
Chapman Radio is especially proud to be named the best-streaming college radio station in the country. This is the fourth year in a row they have been nominated, and they have finally taken home the top spot. School of Communication Professor Jennifer Bevan has been named an associate editor for the international, interdisciplinary Journal of Social and Personal Relationships. ![]() ![]() Graduate Programs Information4 +1 Integrated Undergraduate/ Masters of Health and Strategic CommunicationThe 4+1 Integrated Undergraduate/ Masters of Health and Strategic Communication at Chapman University allows students to earn both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in just five years. Students complete undergraduate coursework in the first three years, take a mix of undergraduate and graduate classes in year four, and finish graduate coursework in year five to obtain an MS in Strategic Communication. The program offers in-demand skills, real-world applications, and a time-efficient pathway to careers in public health campaigns, organizational communication, and health education. These internships are for a total of 6-8 weeks each, 24 – 40 hours per week, and pay $16.50 per hour.
