As we welcome 2026, we extend our warmest wishes to the Princeton in Africa community. A new year offers a moment to pause, reflect, and recommit to the values that ground our work. 

This year, we anchor our work in the legacy we have built together, deepening partnerships across our community to expand impact, strengthen inclusion, and advance leadership across Africa and beyond.  We also see 2026 as a year that brings the stories of our Fellows, alumni, and host organizations even more to the forefront, as they are truly at the heart of everything we do.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our 2025 Board Matching Campaign. Your engagement and generosity continue to make Princeton in Africa’s work possible. As we begin 2026, we are energized by the collective commitment of this community and excited for what we will accomplish together in the months ahead.

There are many ways to engage with Princeton in Africa in the year ahead, including supporting our work through a financial contribution, hosting a Fellow, or joining our network of partners by contacting us at piaf@princetoninafrica.org.

Princeton in Africa Community Highlight

We are thrilled to welcome Hon. Folasade Adefisayo, a seasoned education leader, policy advocate, and social impact practitioner, to the Princeton in Africa Advisory Council. With nearly four decades of experience across Africa’s education and development sectors, Hon. Adefisayo has led transformative initiatives as Lagos State Commissioner for Education, CEO of Corona Schools’ Trust Council, and founder of Leading Learning Ltd, a firm dedicated to school transformation, teacher training, and leadership development.
