2024-25 fees & charges 

From 1 September 2024, AICIS fees and charges to industrial chemical introducers will change, along with introduction value thresholds across most registration levels. These changes follow public consultation as outlined in the 2024-25 AICIS Cost Recovery Implementation Statement (CRIS).

Vape reforms - regulatory changes

From 1 July 2024, use of chemicals as vaping goods, or in vaping goods, is a therapeutic use and not an industrial use.

Note, if a chemical is used as a vaping good or in vaping goods, but also has other industrial uses, AICIS will continue to regulate the introduction of the chemical – but only for the industrial uses.
