Because of you, we can provide top-quality services that make a real difference in people's lives. We are incredibly fortunate to have a team of dedicated staff, volunteers, and carers who exemplify the values of inclusion, respect, and compassion every single day. They are the heart and soul of our organisation, and their unwavering commitment allows us to positively impact our community. Recently, we had the pleasure of attending our Reconciliation Week breakfast, where we had the opportunity to hear inspiring stories and experiences. It was a powerful reminder to embrace inclusion, respect diversity, and show compassion towards one another. As we progress, we invite you to join us on this journey of embodying these core values in everything we do. We can create a more inclusive and compassionate world where everyone feels valued and supported. Thank you for being a part of the MercyCare family. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to making a positive difference in the lives of those we serve. Anthony Smith Makuru Bringing in the Cold Weather Makuru, or the Noongar season of winter, is a time of cold and wet weather. This is when the rains start to fall in the southwest corner of Australia, signalling the start of a new season. During Makuru, the days are shorter, and the nights are longer. National Reconciliation Week A Voice for Generations Staff across MercyCare came together to mark National Reconciliation Week. We started the week big when we joined our fellow Western Australians for the NRW23 Virtual Breakfast.
