Updated Library Search Guides & Support

The Library has refreshed its Search Support service to make it easier to build strong, effective searches. At the heart of this is a new suite of self‑paced Search Guides, offering step‑by‑step support for planning searches, choosing the right tools, refining results and tackling more complex searches. Tailored support beyond the guides is also available via the Search Support Request Form. Find out more on the Library blog or contact the library ( library@flinders.edu.au).

Consortium for the Advancement of Research Methods & Analysis (CARMA)

There are over 250 recorded, high-quality lectures available free of charge for our staff and students that address various aspects of undertaking research. A full list of lectures is provided here, and information on how to register with a FU email address can be found here. The university’s membership in CARMA also allows our researchers to obtain a 50% discount on their short courses. In early June, there are 23 courses on offer, each being four days long. More information about this opportunity can be found here. Interested researchers are encouraged to negotiate with CARMA about recordings due to challenging time difference.
