David joins New York-based architect, Michael Meredith of MOS, to discuss the Mac for his podcast, 'The Department of Buildings.' The Glasgow School of Art by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, completed in 1907 and tragically destroyed by two fires in 2014 and 2018, was an extraordinary building. David has joined the board of arts charity Artangel. Founded in 1985, and today directed by Mariam Zulfiqar, the organisation has commissioned and produced ground-breaking work such as House by Rachel Whiteread, The Battle of Orgreave by Jeremy Deller and Seizure by Roger Hiorns. David collaborated with artist Fiona Banner RA on the Artangel and Living Architecture commission, A Room for London, which formed part of the 2012 Cultural Olympiad. Terence Gower's Enemies and Rascals is currently on show at the Original Cell in the Maughan Library, King's College London. Details can be found here. 

Two residential projects in central London have recently started on site. Pictured is a house for two artists in Hackney. We look forward to sharing more as the project progresses. Our most recently completed residential project, A House on a Hill, is currently shortlisted for the Manser Medal, Architect's Journal's House of the Year Award. 

The team had an away day at past project, Hertfordshire House. The Grade 2 listed farm house and grounds were extensively refurbished in 2019. With 2027 being the studio's twentieth year in practice, we discussed what we had achieved since 2007 and what our ambitions are for the future. Watch this space!
