The cold wintery days are gone and we are so excited to welcome the warm days of spring! We have been hibernating with a number of ideas and plans that we can’t wait to share with everyone! So far this month has been full of fun, laughter and beauty, who knows what else this month will hold! If you didn’t make it down to our Father’s Day Art Markets, we hate to tell you that you missed out on a great day. The Art Markets where a great success, we had wonderful weather, great art, yummy food, lovely music, arts and crafts for the kids and plenty more fun for the whole family. The atmosphere at the art markets is uplifting to say the least; we love seeing our community meet fellow local artists and support their passion. Don’t make the same mistake you did last time, make sure you’re at the next Art Market, we promise you won’t regret it!

Pierrots has done it again blowing audiences away with their 6th annual model competition and fashion show. The annual show was launched 6 years ago by Julie Jeffery with the sole purpose of raising money for cancer research, this year the show raised an enormous 20K! How they manage to do themselves every year we will never understand, every year is outstanding and these beautiful minds deserve a round of applause. The Fashion Show is also renowned for the wonderful platform it provides to up and coming WA models. The vast majority of winners from past shows are now signed by national and international modelling agencies, making Pierrots Fashion show the hallmark show to models all through WA. Out of the 85 participants this year, 7 were announced winners for the evening. These talented individuals will go on to be the new face for Pierrots Hair Studio brand for a year; they also win an exclusive photo shoot with International photographer Chris Huzzard, a spread in well known hair magazine HAIRBIZ and much, much more. The evening certainly was a night to remember and we can’t wait to see how the wonderful, talented people at Pierrots will top themselves next year, well done again on an amazing show.

We are running our October Market with a dog theme on Sunday, 4th October, 2015.
In recognition of all the wonderful dogs that frequent Beaufort Street, we felt it was a great opportunity to provide a special market where owners can bring their pooches along to enjoy a Sunday morning out with the family.
There will be treats galore, a doggie photographer and even a mobile dog wash, (after all who wants to pat a dirty pooch?)
Rotaract will be raising funds for charity with their sausage sizzle (not sausage dog sizzle). A raffle and some very special prizes will be up for grabs on the day. Yes, you can dress Chewie up for the occasion Mayor Carey!
Our raffle on the day has some wonderful prizes, a photoshoot by celebrity animal photographer Alex Cearns from Houndstooth Studio is just the beginning. We will be giving away some wonderful prizes for best looking dog, best behaved dog and best dressed pooch.

Our regular artists and artisans will be back displaying their goods, come down and enjoy the fun with your best buddy.
Located in the Barlee Street Carpark, this is a wonderful place to hang out, listen to music, buy some wares, have a coffee or grab a selection of food provided by Beaufort Street cafes.

The City of Vincent has joined forces with Skateboarding WA bringing local children free lessons in skateboarding. Skateboard WA provides kids with the equipment all you need is positive attitude! The workshops are available to children aged 5 years and above unless stated otherwise, these workshops are a great opportunity to have some fun outside and learn a new skill.
