  • Student/Resident Research Mentorship Database: The Division of Research is implementing initiatives to organize the process of matching research residents and medical students with faculty members for research opportunities. These opportunities are to be strictly for volunteer work done by the student. Specifics on task work is completely up to the faculty member’s discretion. If you are interested in mentoring, please fill out this Qualtrics survey.

  • Grant Writing Club: Designed for anyone in the grant writing process, provides peer feedback on grants prior to or after to submission. Participants should send a draft of their grant 1-2 weeks prior to the meeting for dissemination to peer reviewers. Clinical Research Tip of the Month

UWM TechEd Frontiers Data Analytics & Visualization Course

This learning pathway will focus on the key areas of managing, analyzing, and visualizing data in Microsoft Excel. The pathway will take learners through five modules, building the foundational skills needed to understand how data analysis improves quality, drives innovation, and creates more informed decision-making. Each self-paced module is designed for two weeks of learning, approximately eight hours each week.

  • Descriptive Analysis and Summarizing Data
  • Data Visualization I
  • Data Visualization II

For a limited time and number of applicants, the CTSI is offering mini-grants to cover the cost of this course.
