The Creative PhD: Challenges, Opportunities, Reflection by Tara Brabazon, Tiffany Lyndall-Knight, Natalie Hills Doctorates awarded based on artefact and exegeses, and enabled through creative-led research, are a minority enrolment which suffer from wildly diverse examination expectations and assumptions about quality. Meet Rebecca Holdstock who works in the Examinations Team who manage the HDR examination process when students submit their thesis for examination. Rebecca's role within the team is to receive and send out theses to external examiners. Given the title ‘Turnitin Guru’ by students who are often referred to her if they need help with Turnitin - an important part of the submission process. Read more >
