Standing on Business tailors RAIL CDC's flagship technical assistance offerings to equip participants with the skills and support needed to succeed in entrepreneurship. It seeks to empower individuals facing challenges post-incarceration, where employment opportunities are limited. Through LISC's Financial Opportunity Center, participants will receive financial coaching, employment aid, and income support. They will also benefit from guidance provided by a Business Development Organization, gaining access to specialized training, startup assistance, and valuable insights for effective small business management. This comprehensive approach ensures participants acquire the knowledge, skills, and professional network essential for entrepreneurial success. This programming was made possible in part by a grant from JPMorganChase. A pilot cohort is underway, and registration is open for the next round starting this fall. Learn more below.
