2012 Season Begins at Newlands

Welcome to our first newsletter of 2012. We’d like to begin by wishing all Newlands Holiday Park guests a very happy new year! Thanks to everyone who visited us in 2011 – we hope to see as many of you as possible back at the park at some point this year!

We’ll be officially opening our doors at the end of this month (a little earlier than normal!), to welcome a party of geology students who’ll be staying with us while they explore the fossil-rich Jurassic Coastline. We hope they’ll be the first of many guests to enjoy a fantastic stay with us this year, and go away with big smiles and warm memories of their time on the Dorset coast!

Coming up this year...

As we look to the year ahead, it’s clear we’ve got a tremendously exciting twelve months in store. It’s going to be an especially packed summer, with the Queen’s jubilee, the Euro football tournament and of course the 2012 Olympics, with the Olympic sailing events taking place right on our doorstep in Weymouth Bay.

We’ll also be looking forward to the return of popular events from 2011 such as the Lyme Regis Fossil Festival, which was a huge hit with all age groups last time around, and provided something that was totally unique to Dorset and the Jurassic Coast.

More immediately though, we’ve already had a lot of interest about the February Half Term week and the Grizzly Run in March, and we’re taking bookings for those dates now. Free Swimming for Early Bookers!

Here’s a special offer for you early bookers out there – we’re offering a free family swimming pass for anyone who books a 2012 break before 1st March.

The pass covers your whole family for the entire duration of your stay, and gives you admission to our heated indoor pool (open February-November).
