Since 2022, The Waterworks has served as a gathering place for the community. Built in 1898, the historic venue is home to music, theatre, poetry, and a variety of other artistic endeavors.

Thursday, January 8th at 1 PM

Janet Rabe-Meyer, mezzo soprano, accompanied by pianist Curtis Powell, will perform the music of Cole Porter, George Gershwin, and Rodgers & Hammerstein.

 

Robert Bowlin & Wil Maring: Live from The Waterworks Concert Series
Saturday, January 17th at 7 PM

The Gamble Rogers Folk Festival and The St. Johns Cultural Council present award-winning singer-songwriter Wil Maring and virtuoso guitarist/fiddler Robert Bowlin. Tickets are available at Eventbrite.com.

 

Sundays with SAMF: Kevin Sharpe
Sunday, January 18th at 3 PM

The St. Augustine Music Festival, in partnership with the Ritz Chamber Players, presents pianist Kevin Sharpe performing American-composed music and selections from the Baroque tradition that preceded it. Tickets are available at staugustinemusicfestival.com.

Thursday, January 22nd at 2 PM

This fun, high-energy, interactive program invites you to learn more about all the sources of sound in the sea and why they matter to the animals that live there.

 

Romanza Collage: The River City Rhythm Kings
Saturday, January 24th at 7:30 PM

North Florida’s favorite Dixieland jazz band featuring sounds from the 1920s–1940s. Celebrate Mardi Gras a few days early with New Orleans sounds by the Rhythm Kings. Tickets are available at RomanzaCollage.com.

 

Life Drawing at The Waterworks
Sunday, January 25th at 10 AM

Artists Gail Beveridge and Mary Ann Rosenthal facilitate live drawing sessions with a clothed model. Tickets are $10 on Eventbrite.com.

 

Poetry Open Mic at The Waterworks
Sunday, January 25th at 2:30 PM

Poets and poetry lovers are invited to celebrate creative writing and reciting at The Waterworks with the local poetry community.
