Independently Procured Coverage Policies
Independently Procured Coverage (IPC), or direct procurement policies, are reported in SLIP+ for most states. Colorado, Kansas, Montana, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, and Wyoming all require IPC filings to be reported in SLIP+. Alabama and Louisiana do not require IPC policies to be reported in SLIP+. IPC policies written in the states referenced above should be reported in SLIP+ by the insured and the non-admitted carrier.
