On May 7, 2025, U.S. travelers must be REAL ID compliant to board domestic flights and access certain federal facilities.

Travel to the United Kingdom now requires passengers to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) in advance. ETA's can be applied for online at www.gov.uk at a cost of GBP16 (approximately $21) for up to 2 years, with responses typically received within 3 business days. 

The Government of Brazil has reinstated a visa requirement for all U.S. and Canadian nationals visiting Brazil, with an option for an e-visa for qualified applicants. For questions about the e-visa and application procedures, visit Brazil's official e-visa website brazil.vfsevisa.com/

• Apply at least 15 days before travel

• Processing typically takes 5 business days

• The visa fee is $80.90, and the visa is valid for up to 10 years, allowing multiple entries

MCO Reserve, the system which allows passengers to book a time go through security, has proven to be very popular amongst passengers who do not have TSA PreCheck or CLEAR+.

Starting April 29, Customs & Border Protection (CBP) will be implementing Enhanced Passenger Processing (EPP) for international arrivals at Gates 70-99.

U.S. citizens will be directed to an appropriate queue utilizing EPP technology. A photograph will be captured automatically and processed through CBP systems. If there are no enforcement concerns, the traveler is automatically confirmed for admittance without officer interaction.

If successful, this pilot program may be expanded.

Discover Airlines adds 2nd German Destination

Discover Airlines, which already operates service to Frankfurt, Germany (FRA), has added service to a second German destination, Munich (MUC). This flight provides easy access to southern Germany, Austria, the Alps, and its world-famous Oktoberfest. The A330-300 service began operating on March 3 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Four More for Frontier

Frontier, which has provided service from MCO for over 25 years, is adding four new destinations this spring.

• Austin, TX (AUS) - service to the state capital of Texas started March 6 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Check out some great barbeque, and the 6th longest river in the U.S., which locals call a lake. Now that's weird!  
• Los Angeles, CA (LAX) - service to  the creative capital of the world started March 6. Operating daily flights means you can be back at work in no time if you don't make it big in Tinseltown. 
• Oklahoma City; OK (OKC) - service started March 7 operating on Mondays and Fridays. Visit one of the world's largest livestock markets, or the Bricktown Entertainment District for entertainment, nightlife and dining.
• San Francisco, CA (SFO) - daily service on Frontier's longest MCO route started April 1, to the home of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, cable cars and so much more. 

Breeze: 32 Non-Stop Destinations from MCO

Spirit Adds Two Previously Unserved Markets

Spirit Airlines will soon serve 45 non-stop markets from MCO with the addition of:

• Chattanooga, TN (CHA) - service starts June 4 operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, to the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The location which is close to Georgia and North Carolina is ideal for hiking and exploring the great outdoors. 
• Columbia, SC (CAE) - service to the mustard-based barbeque capital starts June 5 operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Then wash it down with one of "Soda City's" refreshing beverages.

Porter and Brightline

Silver Airways

The airline has filed for bankruptcy protection, and the fate of the airline is expected to be resolved by May 7th.
