The Community Panel found that the genders of the individuals were not the focus of the ad and the man was not treated unfairly or humiliated because of his gender. They also found that there was no suggestion that the man needed to lose weight, and instead used gentle humour to highlight that many adults are looking for healthier alternatives to everyday products. No breach – AANA Code of Ethics ![]() Bad signA Temu ad for a metal sign listed under the name, "Yellow Bikini Girl Hot Butt Metal Tin Sign", raised concerns about sex appeal and exploitative content. The Community Panel noted that while the image was relevant to the product being advertised, the ad did not treat the highly sexualised content with sensitivity to the relevant audience. They also found that the image was objectifying and degrading to women. Breach – AANA Code of Ethics ![]() Bubble trouble?This TikTok ad for Dr Squatch body wash raised concerns about exploitative and degrading content, as well as sex, sexuality, and nudity. The ad shows a woman in a bubble bath saying "Hello you dirty little boys, are you interested in my body...wash”. While the Community Panel acknowledged that the ad contained partial nudity and sexual appeal, they found that it was not in a way that was exploitative or degrading, and the level of sexuality was acceptable for the audience. Under the AANA Food and Beverages Code, ads for occasional food or beverage products can’t target children. The Community Panel found that while the ad did target children, the meal - a chicken wrap, tomatoes and apple juice – meets the FSANZ criterion and therefore not in breach of the Code.
