YEP is hosting Consultation Time in NorthamTuesday 19 September 2023 I 2.00pm - 2.30pm YEP is a peer based youth sexual health education project that provides young people and the youth sector with sexual health education. YEP uses a harm reduction, sex positive and inclusive approach to its work. YEP provides education on STIs and BBVs, safer sex, contraception, LGBTIQA+ 101, healthy relationships, consent, sexting, online dating and pornography. During their trip to the Wheatbelt, they will be providing short professional consultations. Follow-up support and referrals will be provided, if appropriate. This session shall provide professionals from one workplace with the opportunity to ask more specific questions related to their clients, community and organisation. WATCH THE FACEBOOK PAGE AND WEBSITE FOR REGISTRATION INFORMATION A Code of Conduct for certain health care workers now protects consumers in WA who use services from unregulated health practitioners. Examples of health care workers covered by the new Code of Conduct include dietitians, doulas, speech pathologists, social workers, naturopaths, massage therapists and other types of allied, alternative and community health services. It contains 17 clauses that outline how health care workers should undertake their practice, and The Health and Disability Service Complaints Office (HaDSCO) are responsible for investigating breaches of the Code of Conduct.
