We’re excited to continue sharing key updates, resources, and engagement opportunities to help support your domestic high school students on their path to the University of Sydney. Our newsletter will be sent monthly during the school term. To help you kickstart the year, we have compiled some key resources that may be useful when having conversations with your students. Career adviser and teacher resources: useful resources and publications to support career advisers. Undergraduate events: upcoming in-person and online events for domestic students interested in undergraduate study. Stay connected: students and caregivers can subscribe for updates and to be notified about upcoming events. Parents and carers: resources to help parents and carers support their child throughout their journey to university. Shared pool of majors and minors: discover our shared pool of flexible undergraduate options that allow students to combine their interests in one degree. Key contacts: Info Night series On-campus and off-campus: March – April 2026 Explore your future at the University of Sydney by joining us at one of our Info Nights, with dates available at venues in Western and Southwest Sydney, the Central Coast, and on campus. The events include two concurrent sessions tailored to students in Year 10 or Years 11–12. The Year 10 session is interactive, helping students link strengths and interests to courses and providing clear guidance on subject selection, while providing a high‑level overview of admissions, entry schemes, pathways, fees, scholarships and support services covered in the Year 11–12 session. You'll also have the opportunity to chat with current University of Sydney students and alumni from various study areas, hear about their experiences, and get advice on shaping your own study journey. The on-campus event will feature guided tours of the University. Register now to secure your spot. Career Advisers and Teachers' Conference On-campus event: Friday 20 March 2026 Join us on campus to hear from expert staff, meet the team, and learn about our courses, admissions, scholarships, and more. Following the main presentation, choose from a range of breakout sessions on topics like faculty insights, admission pathways, and a special session for new career advisers. The event will conclude with a networking lunch in the Great Hall. We are currently finalising the program and will share it with you soon. In the meantime, make sure to register now and keep an eye on your emails for updates. Dentistry at Sydney The Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine double degree will not be offered to newly commencing students from 2027. Following completion of an undergraduate degree, graduates may apply to the Doctor of Dental Medicine to pursue a career in dentistry. This change aims to increase participation and improve access for a more diverse student cohort, ensuring graduates are well prepared to meet the needs of the communities they serve.
