Tommy Bledsoe State of the Arts Grant Celebrating 25 years of arts advocacy, the St. Johns Cultural Council is awarding $25,000 in support for the 2025 Tommy Bledsoe State of the Arts Grant. Individual artists, arts educators, and non-profit organizations may submit proposals for artist professional development and art, culture, and heritage
projects in St. Johns County. SJCC will award two $5,000 grants and ten $1,500 grants. Apply online by October 31st
ART OPPORTUNITIES & FUNDING
The St. Johns Cultural Council will award grants of $5,000 to $10,000 to arts, culture, and heritage organizations with annual revenues less than $350,000, and up to $5,000 for individual artists. Proposals can be of any art discipline and must take place in St. Johns County, Florida, during the grant period.
South Arts is offering several grants and opportunities to artists in the Southern region in visual, literary, and performing arts disciplines, including the Southern Prize and State Fellowships and professional development support.
This new online professional development curriculum is designed to help artists build thriving practices at any career stage and in any discipline. Free for individual use, courses are created by art professionals, industry experts, and fellow artists who share vital concepts, skills, and tools to help grow artists’ careers—including courses on crafting artist statements, grant proposals, managing multiple income streams, and more.
The City of San Bruno Culture and Arts Commission invites artists to submit proposals for a permanent outdoor sculpture to be installed at Posy Park in California. The budget for this project is $75,000. Open to professional artists aged 18 and over. Proposals will be reviewed by an ad-hoc selection committee and the public will provide feedback based on the finalists’ proposals.
Open internationally to artists of all forms, three winning artists and twelve honorable mentions will receive a $1,000 unrestricted award and exhibit with Homiens as part of the seasonal exhibition. Artists may choose to participate in an interview and will be featured across Homiens' wide-reaching network of buyers, collectors, and institutions. Submit your application for $25.
The Studios at MASS MoCA hosts up to 10 artists at a time for stays of 2 or 4 weeks year-round. Applications from visual artists (painters, sculptors, installation artists, photographers, video/new media artists, fiber artists, printmakers, etc.) and writers in all literary disciplines are accepted.
Stowe Story Labs will award a grant of $50,000 to support the development, production, and distribution of a narrative short film with a total run-time of approximately 10 minutes. Mentoring will be available to support the winning project through all aspects of its development and production. Apply for $75.
Photographers aged 19 and younger can submit up to three still images taken in 2025. One winner will be named Youth Photographer of the year and receive a Sony Digital Image kit, flight and accommodation to the award ceremony in London, global press exposure, and more. Entry is free.
