Day 4 HighlightsThe first-ever Campbell River curling team to compete at National Games did their community proud! Congratulations to the Campbell River Rocks for winning a bronze medal on Friday 🥉 The team was proud to just be competing at the national level; earning a spot on the podium was icing on the cake!
This week, the Mission Blazers floor hockey team has experienced all the ups and downs that the sport has to offer. Through it all, Head Coach Brendan Turner always maintains a positive outlook. During each game, Brendan made sure to ask his team regularly, "Are you guys having fun?" The team's response? A resounding "YES!" What an inspiring example of inclusion and empowerment, and a reminder of what Special Olympics is all about.
