Winter Storm May Impact Response Times

As the Florida Panhandle prepares for a historic winter storm, local infrastructure disruptions may cause delays in our customer service response times. FSLSO staff will work remotely beginning at 1:00 PM today and continue through Wednesday, January 22. All filing platforms will remain fully operational. We appreciate your patience.

Invoicing + Affidavit Due Feb 14 

Fourth quarter 2024 invoice payments and affidavits are due Friday, February 14. Both should be done in SLIP+. 

Pay invoices: 

  • Select the Invoice & Payment History tab 
  • Select Pay Invoices

Start the New Year Strong: Mastering Transaction in Question (TIQ) Management with SLIP+ 

A Transaction in Question (TIQ) occurs when a transaction doesn't meet SLIP+'s business rule requirements. If your confirmation number starts with a "Q," the transaction is under review and needs correction or verification to be accepted. Addressing TIQs promptly ensures filing accuracy and reduces compliance-related communications from FSLSO. Users should try to correct TIQs within 30 days. 

 

The Easiest Way to View TIQs 

The most convenient way to check your TIQs is through the Outstanding TIQs display on the home page. This section breaks down TIQs by how long they've been unresolved: 

 
  • 0–30 days (Green): Recently flagged, but still fresh 
  • 31–60 days (Yellow): Needs attention soon 

  • 61+ days (Red): Requires immediate action 

Clicking any of these categories will take you directly to the Manage TIQs screen, showing all TIQs in that selected range. 

 

Other Ways to Find Your TIQs 

You can also view your TIQs through the Compliance menu:   

1. Select Compliance from the navigation bar.   

2. Click Manage TIQs from the dropdown menu.   

3. You’ll see a list of outstanding TIQs. 

 

To learn why a transaction is in question: 

  • Find the transaction and click or hover over the blue hyperlink in the TIQ Reason column.   
  • You’ll get a detailed overview explaining the TIQ type, possible causes, and next steps. 

 

To correct a TIQ: 

  • Click the blue hyperlinked confirmation number to edit the transaction directly—no need to use the Policy Search. 
 

For a broader view of the policy (helpful for financial TIQs):

  • Click the blue hyperlinked policy number to review the full policy details. 
 

How to Correct a TIQ 

1. Go to Manage TIQs under the Compliance tab.   

2. Click the hyperlinked confirmation number for the applicable transaction.   

3. Make the appropriate edits needed.    

4. Scroll to the bottom and click Review. 

5. A pop-up may be generated that a backout will be created, click Yes to
proceed. 

5. Click Submit Filing.

SLIP+ TIP: Renewals and Backouts 

When filing a renewal or an endorsement, you will locate your policy through a policy search. Simply select Policy Search under the Filings tab and search using the policy number, insured name, or other policy-related information. Select Search, and the policy search results will populate below. 

Once the policy listing comes up, you can use the icons to the right of the policy number to file a renewal, add an endorsement, or edit/backout transactions. 

 

Renew Policy

Click to begin the process of renewing the policy. 

 

Add Endorsement 

Click to add: 

  • Additional premium, 

  • Return premium, 

  • Cancellation, or 

  • Reinstatement. 

 

Edit/Backout

Click to edit policy information or a transaction.
