Peace it Together is proud to work alongside other organizations around the world committed to fostering understanding amongst groups in conflict, promoting nonviolent forms of engagement, and ultimately cultivating a culture of peace, on this International Day of Peace, September 21 2012.
To celebrate Peace Day, we are asking that you watch and share this 2.5 min film about how the Palestinian, Israeli and Canadian participants of our dialogue and filmmaking program build peace, frame by frame. Join us for a live chat on Twitter at 12-noon PST, with your answer to the question:

TOWARDS A SUSTAINABLE PEACE
The theme of the 2012 International Day of Peace is “Sustainable Peace for a Sustainable Future.”

PEACE IT TOGETHER TO PRESENT AT WHISTLER WEEK OF PEACE - SEPT 25, 6:30PM
On Tuesday, September 25 Peace it Together, with Whistler International Day of Peace, will be co-hosting an interactive workshop for both youth and adults at the PassivHaus in Whistler, BC, Canada. The workshop will include a film screening, as well as a lively and engaging discussion about conflict resolution and peace-building.
The workshop runs from 6:30-8:30PM. Learn more here.
Peace it Together is proud to announce that Within the Eye of the Storm, a film by Peace it Together Israeli Program Coordinator Shelley Hermon, is premiering this weekend in cities around the world. Screenings are being held in multiple cities in Israel, in the Palestinian Territories, and in Oslo Parliament, and will be broadcast on several European TV channels.
