2024 Online Short Course | Clinical Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation of Degenerative Neurological Conditions

Dear All,

A reminder that our Rehabilitation of Degenerative Neurological Disorders online short course begins on Monday 19th February!

We apologise that there was an issue with the registration link in the last email - this has now been updated with the correct link.

This 2-day equivalent online short course will examine the latest evidence regarding rehabilitation and capacity building for those with a degenerative neurological disease, and apply these considerations across the progression of conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease and Motor Neurone Disease. The psychosocial impact of neurodegenerative conditions and how these can influence individual needs and outcomes will be discussed.

The online course is organised into modules and delivered through the Flinders Learning Online (FLO) Canvas platform. Course content consists of written materials, video presentations and some activities to supplement your learning. There is also a question and discussion forum which will be monitored by our teaching staff who were involved in the development of the content.

Printed readings will be posted to you prior to the commencement date. These are provided to supplement your learning and are not required to progress through the course, so you are welcome to get started prior to these arriving in the mail. Upon course completion a certificate will be awarded acknowledging your professional development.
