Almost two years into the pandemic and it is a déjà vu for Indonesia. The number of COVID-19 cases has steadily increased this January, mostly due to the spread of the Omicron variant. But it is still business as usual in Indonesia. Expect that you will get stuck in traffic during rush hours in Indonesia's big cities, including Jakarta and Yogyakarta. While you are sitting behind the wheel amid traffic, perhaps you might ponder, are we still in the pandemic? Children are already back in the classroom despite some schools having reported cases of infection.
