Far From HomeThe Far From Home family tour is available to all families with site entry tickets to Port Arthur over the winter school holidays. On this tour, children and their families are invited to discover why Britain shipped their criminals halfway across the world and what it would have been like to experience such a voyage. The Far From Home tour runs for approximately 40 minutes and departs daily at 11:30 am & 2:30 pm from Monday 27 June - Sunday 24 July The Mystery of the CoinsArchaeology at Port Arthur with Sylvana Szydzik Learn about the stash of coins archaeologists discovered at the Port Arthur Historic Site, and the mystery surrounding this exciting find. Why are coins so important to archaeologists and what can they tell us about the people of the past? In this special school holiday event for families, you will have the opportunity to meet with archaeologist Sylvana Szydzik and learn more about her work at Port Arthur. Every Thursday from 30 June - 21 July 1:00pm - 2:00pm Festival of Voices - Pop Up PerformancesPort Arthur has partnered with the Festival of Voices to host two pop up performances at the Convict Church.
