Hockey Calgary’s U9 Three-Quarter Cross-Ice format is a pilot for the 2024-25 season that will come into effect after January 15 for all league games. This format is age appropriate and transitional, and focused on player development and fun. There are several benefits for players in both the Three-Quarter ice competition zone and the Cross-Ice competition zone. We look forward to gathering feedback from our members to evaluate the pilot and continue to evolve and improve our programs and experience for our players.
The TIMBITS JAMBOREE is a great way to wrap up your season with Hockey Calgary and Tim Hortons! Every Timbits team is invited to join us for this FREE, family fun, event that celebrates our Timbits hockey players. The event will feature family-friendly activities off the ice and action-packed Timbits Hockey on the ice.
In an effort to "Celebrate Things Done Well," we are excited to announce that one coach per month during the 2024/25 season will be selected to receive a special congratulatory gift from Original 16. Additionally, they will be invited to join us at the Scotiabank Saddledome on April 20th for the highly anticipated Wranglers vs Barracuda's Fan Appreciation Night. Furthermore, the selected coaches will have the exclusive opportunity to partake in an exciting behind-the-scenes experience with the Wranglers that includes observing a Wranglers practice from the bench and a special appearance from a Wranglers Coach.

Nominations for the Official of the Month award are open throughout the entire season and one winner will be selected each month.
