Classically Simple

The objective for this kitchen was simple; create a seamless, functional work flow from food storage and preparation to cooking and cleaning, while still achieving a timeless look, and space to gather while entertaining. Vivienne moved the sink from its existing location under the window to the angled corner, which still allowed the homeowner to enjoy the view out the bay window. In doing so, she was able to locate the cooktop along the wall, with ventilation above and adequate counter space on either side. Counter height seating provides space for guests or family members to gather without dividing the space or getting in the way of meal preparation. Adequate tall storage on the Refrigeration wall allowed for floating shelves and glass door cabinets, thereby creating a more open feel.

W1 Washer
