CIF Operations Ends December 31, 2024

2024

This month marks six months until CIF concludes its operations and support for communities across Ontario, per CIF’s approval for one final operating year.

Should your community need support over the next six months to assist with blue box transition planning, please reach out to any CIF staff member.

Until December, CIF will continue to progress and close existing resources/projects, in accordance with the 2024 Operations Plan.

Thank you to all who have assisted with the development of resources to date!

2025

During the first half of 2025, CIF staff will conduct administrative activities associated with the windup (i.e., closure of operations, third-party windup review and financial audit), according to the Windup Plan (approved in 2020) and the Administrative Windup Plan (outlined in the 2023 Full Year Operations Plan).
