We are taking pre-orders for 4 varieties of Peonies for pickup at Café Vino Tinto, Safety Harbor, Saturday, July 23, Hyde Park Village, Tampa, Friday, July 29, TüKrō Coffee, Saturday, August 6th, and back to Starkey Market, Saturday, August 13th.
The Alaskan Peonies will arrive at our warehouse each week after having been harvested by the Alaskan farmers. We will sort and organize your order, place in our refrigerated trailer to ensure the coldest & best environment possible. You may select your desired pickup location during checkout. Please note, we have limited quantity, so don't delay!
We are excited to announce we have partnered with an Alaska Peony Cooperative, bringing you premium Alaska grown Peonies, direct from the farm! When we purchase through the Alaska Peony Cooperative we have a direct impact on the success of Alaska family farms located throughout the state. The farmers work hard to ensure the quality of every peony and extend their deepest appreciation and thanks for your support!

If you are not able to pickup your preorder due to an emergency, please contact us as soon as possible so we may set your order aside for pickup at our warehouse in Oldsmar.

Though many have tried to describe the color of this variety, it seems to be characterized as raspberry-red or watermelon-red most often. The color holds true color from harvest to spent vase life, which is an outstanding quality. When dried the color darkens to a deep burgundy.
AVALANCHE
PALE BLUSH/
BUTTERMILK YELLOW
Introduced in 1886, this stunning heirloom variety has blush buds that fade to white upon opening and occasionally display a crimson edge of inner petals. 'Avalanche' is prized for the large bloom size, perfectly formed shape and large petals. The colors are like a soft watercolor paining that changes as the bloom ages and has a heavenly scent.
BOULE DE NEIGE - CREAMY WHITE WITH RED FLECKS
'Boule de Neige' is French for 'Snowball', how appropriate! They consist of tight, large buds that bloom quickly and average 5-10 inches in diameter when open with a strong fragrance.
SARAH BERNHARDT - PINK
Named after a famous actress, this peony likely needs no introduction at all, as she is widely grown and beloved the world over. An idolized peony since 1906 (Lemoine), 'Sarah Bernhardt' is one of the most dependable cut flowers on the market, reliable in the field with an exceptional vase life.

ALASKAN PEONIES
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
- Our Alaskan Peonies are shipped dry and should be placed in water immediately following your scheduled pickup
- Containers should always be clean & filled with room temperature water
- Stems should be cut with sharp scissors at an angle at least one inch from the bottom alone with removing all leaves below the waterline
- Allow 24-36 hours for the buds to open in room temperature location
- Keep away from windows and direct light
- Change the water every one to two days to extend the life of the flowers

Flower Truck #3 (P3) is a 1964 VW Split Window Single Cab has left the spa, aka VW mechanic/whisperer. We have a bit more to do, paint (internal discussion going on, keep the current BRIGHT blue or go with an authentic VW Dove Blue (Posies blue) <-- YES!), add some cool safari windows, add the rails-tarpaulin canvas top, bumpers/wheels in white and the buildout of the flower creative space. We are still on track for hitting the streets by January 2023!
Work to date: Raised back to stock height (it had been lowered and made into a hot rod <-- NO), we added back authentic German VW wheels and hubcaps, new tires, brakes, dual carburetors, clutch - the list goes on and on!
Small P3 funny details: There were no windshield wipers on the little knobs that move them back and forth, as a matter of fact, there was no motor to move the knobs back and forth! Who needs wipers in Florida? The original bench seat had been removed and replaced with a black metal hard as rock bench that has got to go! The bench frame has been ordered and new comfy cushions will be in the works, that is a fact. It did come with a Bluetooth retro stereo system with killer speakers under the black metal bench, so rocking out in that little space will be a real thing! Still no air conditioning!
