China's population has peaked and is now in decline. Added to this, the country will soon be home to at least 400 million pensioners. These changes will be felt in many African countries. After all, China's been Africa's leading economic partner for the past two decades. Lauren Johnston unpacks the various opportunities and risks that could arise in the coming years.

For those of us that work in the media, having the freedom to report on issues that affect society and bring injustices to light is vital. The problem is, free media can also bring misinformation, hate speech and violence. Jeffrey Conroy-Krutz shares findings from four African countries on how people feel about press freedom.
