The Live from The Waterworks concert series is dedicated to celebrating the influential recording artist Gamble Rogers, whose balladry and storytelling have greatly influenced American folk music. These concerts take place on the third Saturday of each month at 7 PM. Premium ticket packages for the Spring Season are ON SALE NOW for $70! Premium ticket holders get: - Priority seating in the first three rows of the venue
- Sponsor recognition for the concert series
- A voucher for a complimentary beverage at each of the Spring shows.
General admission for Spring concerts is $25. Seating is limited to 120. Only a few General Admission tickets are left to see Rob Ickes & Trey Hensley with Larry Mangum on March 16th. Purchase for $25 on Eventbrite.
The St. Johns Cultural Council's Fourth Annual Haiku Contest is open until March 1st. Poets are invited to submit up to three original haiku following the theme of William Bartram's Travels in St. Johns County, so works should be inspired by the flora, fauna, and ecology of the County’s natural landscape, especially along the St. Johns River. A selection committee will choose three First Place haiku, one each in the following categories: - Students ages 5 – 9
- Students ages 10 – 12
- Students ages 13 – 17
- Adults ages 18 & older

Clear Cut by Joe Segal St. Augustine artist Joe Segal reimagines the life cycle of native trees and reflects the larger transformation of the local landscape in his exhibition Clear Cut, as part of the Lightner Local program at the Lightner Museum, opening Friday, March 1st at 5 PM. While nature can be random,
arbitrary, and overabundant, Segal creates order with carved wood and metal elements.
Lunch & Learn: The Friendship of Zora Neale Hurston & Marjorie Kinnan RawlingsDuring Women’s History Month, The Woman’s Exchange of St. Augustine will hold a special exhibit, a trolley tour, and two Lunch & Learn events. Two authors, Anna Lillios and Anne McCutchan, will discuss their books and David Nolan will lead trolley tours. Tickets are $35 at Eventbrite.

Lightner Museum Spring MarketThe Lightner Museum is seeking applications from artisans and small businesses interested in having a booth at the 2024 Spring Market on Thursday, April 18 from 5-8:30 PM. The deadline to apply to participate is March 11. Selected vendors will be notified no later than March 15.

City of St. Augustine Outdoor Art InstallationThe City of St. Augustine is soliciting requests for qualifications for an outdoor art installation to be placed at the roundabout located at the intersection of May Street and San Marco Avenue in St. Augustine, Florida. An artist or team of artists will be tasked with creating an original, large-scale, outdoor, permanent, site-specific civic art installation for the roundabout. The installation must adhere to FDOT requirements, withstand extreme weather conditions and heavy traffic, be structurally sound, and entail minimal upkeep and low maintenance costs. The City of St. Augustine intends for this public art to embody civic themes and serve as a form of symbolic expression for the municipality. Therefore, no logos, words, symbols, or statements should be included in the design. The budget allocated for this project is $250,000. Applications must be submitted online by 5 PM on April 1, 2024. Call for Art: 25th Anniversary Open Community Art ProjectThe Butterfield Art Garage is seeking submissions for its 25th Annual Community Art Project that fits the theme of "Influences." Artists of all ages and abilities are invited to create work that speaks to the concept of Influences. Whether it's an encouraging mentor, an inspiring artist or work of art, the beauty of
nature, or the emotions that drive you to create, this theme is open to interpretation. The entry fee is $10 and includes an 8" x 8" canvas. All work made from other materials must conform to these dimensions. Canvases and entry forms are available at Butterfield Garage Art Gallery from 11 AM to 5 PM. Submissions must be received by Sunday, April 20th.

Request for Qualifications: Community Mural ProgramNOW Art has partnered with Walmart to facilitate a community mural program to include art inside store entrances that anchor people to the place and create a sense of belonging. NOW Art is seeking requests for qualifications from local and regional artists of all ages and levels of experience to create
murals in various styles that reflect their community. Artworks can be made with traditional media or digital art software, but the final deliverable must be formatted for printing at a large scale in high resolution (500-700 dpi in CMYK).
