Karratha Welcome to 2023

On Friday 3 February our health professionals from Karratha and surrounds caught up at the Hampton Harbour Boat and Sailing Club in Dampier for the Karratha Welcome to 2023 networking event. It was a great opportunity to catch up with colleagues that we haven't seen for a while and welcome all the new health professionals that have moved to the region, including our new seven the Rural Clinical School of WA medical students who only arrived in Karratha two weeks ago.

This coming Friday 10 February, we will be hosting the Hedland Welcome to 2023 and we look forward to seeing our East Pilbara health professionals there. More information and the registration link are below-.

Supporting the disability workforce to grow, connect and thrive.

The Remote Ready Program which has officially launched for 2023 in the Pilbara. The program will focus on those working with disability clients in remote communities, supporting the disability workforce to grow, connect and thrive.

To start the program, we are inviting disability workers in the Pilbara to complete a survey that will help guide its development. Please click here to complete the survey and go into the draw to win one of three fitbits. The survey closes on 24 February 2023 and we will announce the winners in March.

In addition, if you would like to meet with a member of the project team to discuss this program, its opportunities or the survey, please reach out to info@karrathahealthcare.org.au.
