Information requirements for certificate applications involving specified classes of introduction

 

'Specified classes of introduction' can involve higher hazards or greater exposure to people and the environment, therefore applicants must provide additional targeted information when applying for an AICIS assessment. We're seeking feedback on whether these information requirements for specified classes of introduction are:

 
  • clear and easy to understand
  • reasonable to provide
  • missing any important information.

Outcome of the consultation on on 2026–27 fees, charges and certificate application changes

Thank you to everyone that gave feedback between 10 April – 15 May 2026. We have published the outcomes of this consultation and a summary of your feedback and our responses.

We will implement all proposals without any changes, including:

  • a one-off 90% discount to the 2026–27 registration levy
  • fee increases for assessment certificate applications over a 2-year period
  • a new certificate application structure starting 1 July 2027.

New video on how to validate your chemical dataset in IUCLID

As part of our new IUCLID guide, this video includes step-by-step instructions and detailed explanations supported by screen recordings.

It’s designed to helps applicants, chemical data providers and their agents to: 

  • create a chemical dataset in IUCLID for assessment certificate applications
  • run the Validation Assistant to check for missing information
  • fix errors to reduce application processing delays
  • export their dossier file to upload into AICIS Business Services.
