Presenting authors for abstracts that have been accepted for either Quickshot or Plenary oral presentation will have 2 weeks from the time of notification to Accept or Decline the invitation to present.

Presenting authors that have accepted the invitation to present at the annual meeting are required to register for the meeting by the Early Bird Registration Deadline on August 3, 2023.

Western Surgical Association (WSA) 2023 Annual Meeting

Presentation Types:

  • Oral- Accepted oral presentations will be required to submit a manuscript to the Journal of the American College of Surgeons (JACS). Additionally, a WSA Member must close the discussion of your paper at the WSA 2023 Annual Meeting. If your abstract is not selected as an Oral presentation, it will automatically be considered for an ePoster presentation.
  • ePoster- Non-podium presentation opportunity that does not require manuscript submission.
