From the Headmaster
Dear Scotch Community,
I trust your last couple of weeks have been as exciting and rewarding as have mine. This term is disappearing quicker than it commenced, and the end of term date of 27 June is looming very quickly.
Over the last fortnight, Mr Burt and I commenced the annual House breakfast (previously lunches) with our Year 12s. Without doubt I find this one of the most useful and enjoyable activities of my year. Why? Well, the answer is very simple. It is extremely rewarding to spend some quality time with this group of young men who are not far from completing their individual journeys at Scotch. It is their individual journey which is most intriguing. At breakfast we ask the boys to reflect on their time at the College, good and bad times, and to share the things they would and would not change about their College.

Important update!
Important change to absentees
As of Winter Term 2025, all absentees will need to be communicated via SEQTA Engage. This ensures absentees are immediately logged and relevant staff are aware.
You can access SEQTA Engage via the Scotch App. SEQTA Engage is an important platform in your son’s schooling, allowing you to stay updated on homework, reports, and assessment results. For more information see the links below.

Sibling enrolments
If your child is at Scotch and they have siblings yet to be registered, please note that spaces for boarding and day students are filling up quickly.

Uniform Shop
Gortex Jacket Sale
The Uniform Shop has Scotch maroon gortex jackets for sale at $150 (GST incl). They are fully waterproof, and are suitable for Scotch supporters braving the elements, as well as for boys on outdoor education camps.
