  • Jo Shearer from from the College of EPSW explored the self-efficacy and preparation of final year preservice teachers to teach students with disability in regular classes at mainstream schools
  • Asma Akther from the College of EPSW investigated the adaptation of Australian-born children of skilled immigrants.
  • Lucy Bird from the College of EPSW researched why people feel despair about socio-political issues such as climate change and racial inequality, and what the impacts of experiencing despair are.

REST moving to Canvas

In line with the University’s move to Canvas, the REST FLO site is currently being migrated to Canvas. The new Canvas site will be available on 15 December 2023, and the old FLO site will be closed. The Canvas move will be gradual over the coming months, with skills and content being released throughout December. However, the main resources you access through REST will be available as of 15 December. If you have any content in the REST FLO, such as Turnitin reports you would like to keep, please export these out and save them externally. For any questions about this move, please get in touch with the HDR Development team.

HDR Student Annual Satisfaction Survey

The HDR Student Annual Satisfaction survey is currently under development and will be distributed next week. Please take the time to share your feedback in this comprehensive survey that directly informs how university services will be provided to you in 2024 and beyond. This is your chance to have your say, voice your opinion on the services and resources, suggest improvements for the future and be in the running for a pretty awesome prize! Keep and eye on your emails from the HDR Development team next week.
