The Gradel Quadrangles at New College, Oxford, were awarded a RIBA South Regional Award. The awards jury, chaired by Claire Taggart, noted, "the project represents an ambitious and important addition to Oxford’s rich architectural heritage." Read the full jury citation at the RIBA Journal here. 

The Gradel Quadrangles featured in leading swiss magazine, Werk, Bauen, Wohnen's May issue, "Heiter bis lustig" (Joyful to funny), which "explores how lightness, playfulness, and irony can break through the often gray, dead-serious nature of modern design." Under the article title "Anachronisitic Wit," Ros Diamond writes, "The Gradel Quadrangles are rewardingly strange and familiar, enlivened by a playful historicism." House on a Hill (Smart's Place) was awarded a RIBA West London Regional Award. The awards jury, chaired by Amir Sanei, noted the project "stands as a compelling example of how contemporary living can be inserted into the historic city with imagination and care." The practice's first monograph, Stages, was won the Creative Review Annual Award for Editorial Design. Edited by Moritz Küng, designed by Armand Mevis and published by König Books, Stages is"'sumptuously conceptual' and challenge preconceptions about what a book about architecture should be."
