A Milestone Moment: My Invitation to the Golf Pride Global Innovation Center

I sent out a item in the latest Darbcast that I had some exciting news, well I am know able to tell the world.

I am excited to announce that in the early part of 2026, I will be one of just five TGI Partners invited to visit the Golf Pride Global Innovation Center in North Carolina. This state-of-the-art facility is the hub of Golf Pride’s grip research and development.

During this trip, I will have the opporunity to tour the facility to explore grip manufacturing and learn how grips are developed—from initial concepts and prototypes through to performance evaluation—covering everything you need to know about the process.

While in North Carolina, I will also be staying at the Pinehurst Resort, where I will have the opportunity to play two rounds of golf. One of these rounds may be on Pinehurst No. 2, the renowned championship course that has hosted the U.S. Open on four occasions, most recently in 2024, and is scheduled to host the championship again in 2029.

How did I get this opportunity?

At the TGI Business Conference in February this year, Brand Fusion, along with Golf Pride, launched a competition for partners. This wasn’t simply about sales volume—it focused on creative and innovative ways to market and promote golf grips using social media, email, video content, and eye-catching in-store displays. My retail consultant, together with Brand Fusion, selected me as a standout performer and someone who has gone above and beyond in these key areas throughout 2025.

To say I am excited would be an understatement. Being recognised for the work we do truly makes everything worthwhile. Although I am the one who will be experiencing this trip of a lifetime, there is no “I” in team. I want to highlight the incredible team behind me—their attitude and commitment are first-class. With their support and enthusiasm, we were able to bring this project to life and achieve something truly special.
