Introducing Time To Revive
Volunteer Training Portal Updates
We are very excited about the Updated Volunteer Training Portal and encourage you to take some time and peruse the site. We greatly value your continued input and use of our Volunteer Resources. Our goal is to continue providing quality resources you can use in sharing the Gospel Message.
Notable Updates: We have streamlined the Training Manual, expanded the Internal Training Articles, improved the Church Connection Tools, provided Approved 3rd Party Resources to Share, and have included a section on Gospel Training Tips.

Conversation Tips & Tricks
Transferring a Chat Conversation – There are times that it may be necessary to transfer a conversation. It could be that the seeker is requesting to speak with a specific volunteer or needs to speak with someone of their own gender. It could also be you needing to transfer because you have to leave.
The Transfer function allows a volunteer to transfer a chat to another volunteer who is online and willing to accept the transfer. NEVER transfer a conversation to another volunteer without first getting their agreement that they are willing to accept the conversation from you. Group Chat or Private Message is the best way to communicate with other volunteers when seeking assistance.
You should also clearly communicate with the seeker when you are transferring them. The steps to transfer are as follows:
- Click the drop-down arrow (located at the top right, next to the X)
- Select "TRANSFER"
- Choose a User that has agreed to take the conversation over
- Click Transfer (This is the first step. The other volunteer must “accept” the transfer by clicking the check mark before the conversation will be moved.)
- A successful transfer will remove the chat from your active conversations
Upcoming Initiatives...
The Kentucky Baptist Convention is working on a campaign where every household in the state of Kentucky will receive a small package in the mail later this summer. This Gospel for Every Home initiative will share what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus. It will also contain a web site with different resources including a list of local churches and a way to reach out with questions via online chat, text messaging or phone calls. Need Him Global will be partnering with them to provide the live response for those with questions.
Hollywood Highlights
In 2015 the ministry leadership met with movie director Jon Erwin. His goal was to use Hollywood movies to share Gospel truth and he wanted to direct people where they could learn more after the movie. The first movie partnership with him was with the ministry being listed as the first credit at the end of Woodlawn. It was a huge success with a great number of conversations but they were mixed into all the other ministry conversations. In 2018 the ministry launched the ChatAboutFaith.com for the movie I Can Only Imagine so we could track the numbers coming specifically from this movie. We updated the website this year to also include I Still Believe. We have had over 243,000 visitors to that site in just two years as we look forward to their next movie.
Woodlawn
This inspiring movie of Faith and Hope set in the seventies in the midst of government mandated desegregation. This is an amazing story of how hope and love lead to a spiritual awakening that teaches an entire community to overcome hate that surrounds them.
I Can Only Imagine
This inspiring story of a young man growing up in an abusive home, and the healing that God brought through the redemption of his father. An inspiring display of how forgiveness and restoration can occur even in the most broken situations.
I Still Believe
This inspiring true-life story of Christian music star Jeremy Camp and his journey to love and loss that looks to prove there is always hope.
Please Welcome Time To Revive Volunteers
Over the past months, the pandemic has brought on many changes to our culture and has somewhat changed the way many are approaching ministry. We have been extremely blessed to partner with Time To Revive in these days. TTR partners with local churches inspiring them in sharing the Good News of Christ. We are so thankful to have the TTR Team working along-side us.
Kyle Martin is their CEO and he shared what it meant to come together. "Need Him has been an incredible asset to Time to Revive. With our team not being able to interact like we typically would with people in person, Need Him provided a very timely platform for our team. Instead of being stagnant and not going to the streets, we had endless open doors to share about Jesus Christ online.”

A Look At The Milestones.....
God has been incredibly faithful in using the ministry over the past two plus decades. Sometimes, it helps to stop and give thanks for just how active He has been. As we started to look at some of the numbers this past month, we realized that we have been through a season of milestones. We hope you find these as inspiring as we did.
