• Returning after a brief hiatus, The Camp is the ultimate multi-day ski experience at Whistler Blackcomb. The Coaches are classified as a unique breed of awesomeness. • Construction is currently underway on Fitzsimmons Express, upgrading it from a 4-pack to an 8-pack. Once completed, this new lift will significantly reduce wait times and increase uphill capacity in winter and summer, providing even greater access to our bike park with five riders per chair!
• The Kids Adventure Camp has returned on Whistler mountain, and will be running out of all three base areas for the 2023/24 season. The 5-day program is offered from the Whistler base and Blackcomb base, and the 3-day program is offered from the Creekside base. Whistler Changemakers

Tourism Whistler has launched a new video series, Whistler Changemakers, which highlights local businesses putting sustainability at the forefront of their operations. Hosted by Whistlerite, pro skier and passionate environmentalist, Mike Douglas, the series explores a variety of topics including emissions tracking, supply chain best practices and the ripple effects of sustainability education. Tourism Whistler will continue to share stories of Whistler residents, businesses and organizations who are going above and beyond in their efforts to preserve the environment and contribute to the Whistler community, with the first three videos being released throughout October. New Dawn Patrol Option with Whistler Heli-Skiing

This winter, Whistler Heli-Skiing is introducing a new exclusive offer for their guests that offers an alternative when a heli-ski day is cancelled due to weather. 'Dawn Patrol' is an add-on option, where guests will meet their guides at 7:30 AM for a private First Tracks experience on Blackcomb Mountain, not available to the general public and will continue to have lift line priority with their guide until noon. Guests must sign up for this option by 4 PM prior to their day of heli-skiing and will only be charged if they cannot heli-ski. whistlerblackcomb.com

New Intro to Nordic Skiing Bundle at Whistler Olympic Park

Whistler Olympic Park will also commence its winter season operations in November. During the winter season, the Park offers a stunning natural setting to explore on cross-country skis or snowshoes, and one can try the unique winter sport of biathlon. New for the upcoming winter, the Park is offering a Private Nordic Skiing Bundle, which includes a lesson with a professional instructor, plus a day ticket and classic rental package. New: Wedge Mountain Lodge and Spa Opening

New for the 2023/24 winter season, The Longhorn Saloon will be offering a buffet breakfast, starting on November 24, 2023. Alpha Cafe Now Open

The team behind the renowned Alta Bistro restaurant have recently opened offshoot Alpha Cafe next door. The cafe is open daily from 7 AM to 3 PM, serving espresso coffee, freshly baked treats as well as lunch options and salads. Audain Art Museum Special Exhibitions

The Audain Art Museum hosts a number of exciting Special Exhibitions each year. Dedicated to presenting a wide range of artists and artistic practices, the Museum’s exhibitions include both historical and contemporary art.

Karin Bubaš: Garden of Shadows, showing September 23 - January 29, 2024, will be a mix of old and new work, centered around the tension between the summer and winter season. Monochromatic photographs taken in cold arctic conditions (such as icebergs in Iceland, frozen waterfalls and snow-covered forests) are juxtaposed against the bright hues of summer, with fields of dahlias, sunflowers and rose gardens. 

Gathie Falk: Revelations, showing November 25, 2023 – May 6, 2024. This exhibition of legendary Canadian artist Gathie Falk features more than 90 works and underlines the incredible range of her creative output in ceramic and bronze sculpture, acrylic and oil on canvas painting, photography and video, as well as multi-media installation. audainartmuseum.com
