This year marks 45 years in business and 20 years under John’s leadership, expanding to three factories with Australian-made gear. The Evolution of the Ripper
What started as a simple, practical tool has evolved into the powerful, versatile equipment we rely on today.
As the industry has advanced, distinct Ripper designs have taken shape, each tailored to specific conditions and performance needs. At SBA, we proudly offer both the SBA Ripper and the Irish Ripper.
SBA Ripper (Regular Ripper):
Heavy-duty single shank construction
General-purpose design for a variety of ground conditions
Optional side wear plates for added durability
Ideal for standard ripping tasks
Solid steel shank built for heavy-duty jobs
Curved design for deeper ground penetration
Specifically engineered for tougher terrain and compacted soil in pipelaying applications
Additional 2 teeth added to help rip through tough site conditions when trenching

MCGRATH'S INAUGURAL GIVING DAY & DIG IT PINK
