We are delighted to announce that Volume 28, Issue 1 of the Asia Pacific Journal of Environmental Law (APJEL) is now available in print and via Elgaronline.

This issue of APJEL contributes to advancing environmental law knowledge and scholarship in the Asia-Pacific region. Articles in this issue include a critical analysis of Australian governmental efforts to address the protection of First Nation’s People’s cultural heritage in the context of mining and climate change; constitutional litigation concerning Australian government actions in respect of climate change and water usage; possible reforms of Constitutional law in China, to enhance environmental protection; exploring opportunities for corporate climate litigation in South-East Asia, especially Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore; the potential of environmental liability insurance to promote sustainability by complementing traditional regulations in China; the newly introduced legal framework for communal grassland use and protection in Mongolia; and an article that argues that REDD+ constitutes one of the important climate change mitigation strategies that can assist in reducing deforestation and promoting the conservation and sustainable management of forests in India.

We hope you enjoy reading this issue!
