Now accepting Expressions of Interest

Dear colleagues,

For the first time, ACSES is opening Expressions of Interest to attend the ACSES Policy Symposium 2026 beyond its direct invitation list.

Held on 8–9 September at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, this year's Symposium, under the theme The Evolving Student in Higher Education, will bring together higher education leaders, policymakers, researchers, practitioners, and students to explore how the profile, needs, and experiences of students are changing, and what this means for policy, practice, and funding.

The program features speakers from across the sector, including:

• Professor Shaun Ewen, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Education), Griffith University

• Professor Kerri-Lee Krause, Chief Commissioner, TEQSA

As places are limited, submitting an Expression of Interest does not guarantee attendance. Expressions of interest will be reviewed by the ACSES team, and individuals who are allocated a place will receive a formal invitation and registration link.

Unable to attend in person? The Symposium will also be livestreamed, with free registration available online.
