Welcome back for 2025. In 2024 we launched BGL offerings at Flinders City Campus (almost 60% of the FCC student load) and almost doubled our research income to more than $13.3M. In 2025 we will be launching Flinders Factory of the Future, our new degrees in Business Analytics and Event Management & Tourism, our Next Executives executive education course, and our new online suite of postgraduate courses. We will also be welcoming an international delegation of reviewers to assess our application for accreditation by the Association for the Advancement of Collegiate Schools of Business, and a CSI team led by Mark Halsey will enter the final stages of an ambitious bid for a Centre of Excellence based at Flinders Our lead photo for this issue shows students from Nankai University in Tianjin, China, who visited Adelaide at the end of 2024 for their graduation ceremony. Last year, our medical cohort raised over $2,600 for the World’s Greatest Shave, with 8 students donating hair for wigs and 4 shaving their heads to support leukemia patients. This year, we’re going Flinders-wide with a bold goal: raising $5,000! If we hit the target, a faculty member will shave, color, or cut (at least 20cm) of their hair.
